Indigo Workshops at Bessou in Manhattan on Mother's Day Weekend


Curious Corners is coming to Manhattan! We are having two indigo dye workshops on Friday, May 12 at Bessou, a new “talk-of-the-town” Japanese restaurant in NoHo area. Make original indigo items for mother’s day or bring your old cotton items to give new life. House made ice cream by Bessou along with tea will be provided.

Yamato indigo Kit and KOFU items will also be available for purchase.

Bandana or Tenugui Dye

$50 per seat

Limited to 8 seats

One ticket includes your choice of one cotton bandana (50 x 50cm) or tenugui (Japanese cotton tea towel, 90 x 35cm). Cotton scarf (90 x 90cm) or canvas totes are also available with additional $15 at the workshop.

Dye Your Own Item

$55 per seat

Limited to 8 seats

One ticket allows you to dye 250g, approx. one T-shirts or something equivalent. Any additional weight will cost $0.20 per gram. Cotton or silk garment only. No wool or synthetic materials can be dyed.

Please note all Curious Corner's workshop tickets are non-refundable.
